As humans as we are there is no need for sufferings and hardships to suppress us and to prevent us from attaining our goals if each and every one brightens the corner where he or she is. Social vices, poverty, terrorism and theft cases have been rampant because of sense of inequality and difficulties to make ends meet and the neglect of those up the social ladder to provide a helping hand to those below the drain.
I believe in the act of service and the concept of social entrepreneurship geared towards giving back to society what you have been blessed with. This is because I believe that as the society I live in prospers so do I prosper and have my peace. If we all are going to think in that direction then I believe we can comfortably sleep without closing our doors because there will be peace and safety for all because no one will have to rob the other just to make ends meet because everyone helps the other to attain greatness and thus we all win.
I believe the numerous vices and hardships can be cleaned from the surface of the earth if each and every one is willing to give back to society what he or she has been endowed with. This would have taken poverty with its associated vices out making the world a better place for the entire human race.
Never sit back and say you have nothing to offer to the world. There is a lot of rich deposits in you and these greatness is in there for the benefit of others. Ask yourself always, what can I do for my community, country or the society where I live and you will definitely find something great to do.
If you think you don’t have the capacity to do so now then you can volunteer and help other foundations and agencies whose goals are in alignment with yours and join them in their quest to make the world a better place. For example, the Hyefata foundation is one of the foundations which is very keen on impacting lives through sewing and usually embark on outreach programs in deprived communities with one of their key annual programs been the cloth a child initiative. You can be a part of this great family to serve as a great start for you to marshal your forces towards creating a better and peaceful world for future generations.
Learn the act of been socially responsible and lets help create a better world that we and future generations would be proud of. See yourself to be the hope and light of the world and always see it for a fact that other people’s life depends on your willingness to give back to society. Let your impact be felt in the society and country you live in. Be the reason behind the smile of others and be the reason why someone did not have to commit suicide and the reason for the very existence of another person.
Our lives depends on your zeal to make the world a better place.
